We gave Fairmont Banff a call to do a quality check and found them to be lovely and helpful. The girl I spoke to gave me some useful tips to pass on to my readers. The first was getting there is an hour flight from Vancouver to Calgary and then she recommended a shuttle company called Brewster to shuttle from Calgary to Banff. She informed us that the cost is about $60 per person.
If you want to go high end, Fairmont do have a Gold experience, otherwise she recommended taking full advantage of the spa experience. The spa or mineral pool can be accessed all day for $59 with other options available for the full deluxe spa experience. She did add that the spa experience is heavenly and not to be missed. They are happy for customers to call or book online, whatever works for you.
Of course, the other enjoyment of Banff is the snow season and ski slopes as well as the village itself. The snow season is shaping up nicely with the winter looking promising of a lot of snow.
